- The apartment sits outside the ZTL, at the edge of the centre: you drive right up to the door with no permit.
- Public parking runs along Viale Vittorio Veneto, including in front of the building: blue bays, paid at the meter or with the EasyPark app.
- The historic centre begins a few minutes away on foot and is a limited traffic zone at all hours: from here you simply walk in, with no permits and no cameras to think about.
- From the train station it is a five-minute taxi ride, easy with luggage.

What you do when you step outside
This is the right base for the Motor Valley, because everything out there is done by car and here the car is not a problem. The Ferrari Museum in Maranello and the Enzo Ferrari Museum are the two you cannot skip.
Away from engines, with the car downstairs you are half an hour from a balsamic vinegar loft and the hills and small towns around the city.

Do I need to worry about the ZTL?
No, and that is the main reason people choose this flat. We are outside the limited traffic zone: you drive right up to the door, no permits and no cameras. Public parking runs along viale Vittorio Veneto, including in front of the building — blue lines, pay at the meter or with EasyPark.
It is on the ground floor: are there steps?
Yes. The flat is on the ground floor, but there are six steps at the entrance and no lift. We write it plainly because “ground floor” suggests no barriers, and here that is not quite the case: with a heavy suitcase or walking difficulties, they need counting in.
How far is the centre?
The Cathedral is about nine minutes on foot, Osteria Francescana four. It is the kind of distance you do without thinking in summer and feel in winter, in the Modena fog: ten minutes are ten real minutes.
Is it a good base for Maranello and the motor museums?
It is the best of our four, for a practical reason: the Motor Valley is done by car, and here the car is downstairs with no permits to ask for. Maranello is about half an hour away, the Enzo Ferrari Museum stays in town, and the same day has room for Lamborghini or Pagani, where you actually walk into the factory. Anyone arriving without a car will find the flat at viale Vittorio Veneto 67 handier — six minutes from the bus station.
